Murchison Goes Solar - community bulk-buy project
Co-conveners Geoff Lodge (03 5826 2750) and Yvonne Forrest (0427 507 416) have been the driving force behind this solar initiative. Along with a working group they have been driven by alarm at the rapacious demand for coal generated power in our region and our subsequent responsibility to minimise our environmental footprint. In the course of the project a surprising level of interest and environmental concern in our community was uncovered, and indications are that this will only be the beginning.
